Howdy!

My oh my! This blog is still around. Given Google's propensity for killing its products, I'm pleasantly surprised that blogger has stood the test of time. The last time I checked this space, the word pandemic was practically unknown to the masses. It's a bit rich of me to assume I had followers but the one or two noble souls who occasionally popped in to check if I hadn't still kicked the bucket would have given up on me by now. Besides who has the attention span to read sentences longer than 140 characters? That isn't really bad news. Now I can drivel gleefully without any fear of being judged. There's no one left to point out what an astonishing creature I am for having lived over 3 decades without a functioning brain.

I discovered my super power recently -- reading too much into things. This work from home situation has left me with plenty of time to kill and you know what they say about idle mind. While I slack off (if you are my manager from work, this is a work of fiction), my imagination works overtime. I even gave my imagination a name. Mr. Fahrenheit from the Freddie Mercury's song "Don't stop me now". "I am burning through the sky, 200 degrees that's why they call me Mr. Fahrenheit". Just like the song, you can't stop it once it takes off at the speed of light. From innocuous realization that I am a couple of mins late to a meeting to a staggering conclusion that my whole life is crashing down like a pack of cards is but a journey of two stops in my train of thoughts. Don't get me wrong. It's not all gloom and doom. It is in fact such an happy place sometimes. I wish my real life is 1% as beautiful as some of the versions of my life that play out in my head. Occasionally when an opportunity presents itself to make fantasy meet reality, what do I do? Read too much into it and screw it up. Story of my life. :-D (Dear KG, fat chance you will read this blog but if you are, you know what I am talking about :P)

Well, I've rambled enough for the day. Toodle-oo!
